IGNOU ASSIGNMENT PREPARATION TIPS
IGNOU ASSIGNMENT PREPARATION TIPS
As we all know Indira Gandhi National open university (IGNOU) is one of the best universities in India. The university offers high-quality education through the open and distance learning mode.
If you are a student of IGNOU, the assignments are very important to complete your course of study. Students are allowed to appear in Term End Exams only after submitting assignments to the respective study centres. IGNOU gives 30% weightage for assignments and 70% weightage for TEE. So do not take your assignments lightly. Try to score high marks, at least 95%, for your assignments. Because the marks of assignments will make a great impact when it comes to calculating your final marks.
Here are some tips that may help you while writing your assignments.
2. Read the questions carefully and find out the related topic in your study material.
3. Then read the portion where the answer is located at least five times.
4. Then read the question again and ask yourself what are the main points should you include in this answer and how much words the answer should contain.
5. Jot down the relevant points of the answer on a rough paper.
7. Your answer should contain three parts, that is, introduction, body, and conclusion.
8. Now its time to write the answer, do not copy paste your material. Try to make the answer in your own words. Do not include points which are not related to the question.
9. After finishing writing its time to proofread your answer. Read your answer 2-3 times, check the spellings, make corrections if needed.
10. Now it's time to write the final draft. Write your answer on your assignment paper and try to write neatly with a good handwriting as possible.
Now repeat this procedure for all questions. This is what I follow when writing essays. So make sure that you do not lose any marks when it comes to your assignments. All the best.
